Lets start a 1M per year profitable business in 3 days - part 1

You could make around a million a year on passive income without putting a lot of money in the business. We are going to explore that route today and there are 5 things you'll need:

1. Build something useful/needed

2. Hustle to get your first few sales

3. Get testimonials

4. Use the reviews to attract more sales

5. Keep building and adding value until you hit 1M in profit

So how does it work in real life? I want to walk you through how you can get started implementing this strategy in 3 days.

So we are going to be building a boring business that requires no staffs, no overhead costs, tiny investment in the form of purchasing a domain and hosting package, that should cost you a few bucks, about $20 and the best part of it, it’s DIY. You can build it with no code and you don’t have to hire a developer for it. 

So the first thing stronghold we need to pull down is the popular advise that you should build around your passion. Passion is overrated. Passion doesn’t pay the bills. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here’s what we are going to do. We are going to build an online store to sell something really specific, something that a lot of people need and helps relieve a huge pain from people. So we ask - what is that one thing that is in high demand, used every single day and ticks the following boxes - satisfies our logical needs + social needs + self esteem needs + self actualisation needs + cheap and used by billions of people everyday?

The simple answer is SHOES! Now thats not the only answer but it is the one we are going with today. 

Shoes are used by billions of people everyday and there a tons of cheap shoes - so there a large market for it

Shoes satisfies our logical needs cos it protects our foot from harm as we move from place to place. You don’t think twice before buying a shoe because it solves a pressing need

Shoes satisfies our self esteem needs because without them, you look primitive and can’t blend in. In fact, you won’t be let in if you are not wearing shoes. Theres a reason why everyone owns at least one pair of shoes.

Shoes, especially status shoes like Nike satisfies our social needs through jogging and you can associate yourself with athletes or feel among those high achieving people who jog

Shoes satisfy out self actualisation needs by making us fit and nearer to our ideal self, this is directly tied to the previous point of jogging. So as we jug, we become fitter and healthier directly pulling us nearer to our self actualisation goals.

So I believe we can all agree that shoes have a wide use case and needed by billions of people - which plugs into our constant talks of servicing a need with a large addressable market

Now we’ve got number one sorted. We are setting up a shoe store today. Yaaaay! 

And remember our criteria for setting up shop:

1. No staffs needed

2. No overhead costs so we are cutting out the need for a physical shop

3. No need to hire a developer. You can do it yourself

4. Low starting cost

Tomorrow, we’ll jump into the starting your online shop with zero code then we can proceed to step 2 where we will talk about getting your first few sales. From there, we’ll quickly breeze through automating testimonials and using them to scale your business further before we’ll round up by breaking down the topic of profit and setting up sustainable business systems.
