Make 5 sales daily
3 tips to help you close more deals
As an entrepreneur, if you want to make 5 sales today, be prepared to reach out to about 1,000 people at the very least. Sounds big? Yes, and that is why marketing automation services are a big deal also. Often times, your problems as an entrepreneur stems down to 3 things: offer, market and distribution.

There are different ways to reach 1,000 potential clients everyday, the easiest route being through ads. Most people might opt for a more organic way - and that's also fine too. A major way people utilise is through content marketing. It works! But the biggest challenge with content marketing is that you often might end up with a ton of traffic and zero sales...and I might have an idea why you aren't making sales. In this writeup, I've outlined 3 major things you need to do to get people to take the desired action and help you close more sales.
Change your offer
I recommend setting up about 20 different landing pages all with different offers for your product/service and keenly observe the best performing ones. Pick the top 3 and double down.
Go for clarity
It might be the problem you are having is that you've not clearly articulated the value customers will be getting if they patronise you. Change the wordings and sentences on your landing page. Rephrase your call to action buttons. Test, test and test different things on your different landing pages.
Bundle value together
Know what gets people very excited? Free things! Put together an offer that unlocks one or more valuable items/products/services when people buy from you. It could be something really simple like: buy a T-shirt and get a cap + shoe lace for free! Most people who wouldn't have bought the T-shirt will end up buying it just because they perceive the added cap and shoe lace is a bargain.
Now, if you're doing all these and still not making sales, I have a bit of not-so-fantastic news for you: you are selling the wrong product/service or the market is too niche and limited for you to break even. Sell something else.
This of course leads us to start asking questions like - how long is long enough to keep at a failing business? First, if you are not making sales, you are not in business. I recommend giving it your all for about 2 years, that's long enough time for every business idea to germinate and start bearing fruits. Of course, traction is defined differently by different people - it could be your goal isn't profit but engagement or even traffic. If you aren't making reasonable headways after giving it your absolute best in 2 years, you might have to consider selling another product in a growing market.
I hope this helps someone.
