We should start from the ARRRR framework - it stands for Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue. A proper digital strategy would allow you take your potential clients through these steps and make money for your business.

There is a reason Facebook has over 2 billion users, Instagram has over 800 million users, There are 300 hours of YouTube videos uploaded every minute and almost 5 billion videos are watched daily on YouTube. Twitter has over 330 million users and Linkedin has over 500 million users.

If this proves anything, it is that your potential customers are online and they are on social networks. With a properly executed social media strategy, your business could attract up to 80% more customers over a period of 90 days. You’ll need a dedicated social media team in-house or hire an agency to push your social media strategy. In the world we live in today, 70% of a user’s journey to tie a deal starts with a Google Search; if your customers are on the internet and searching, your lack of presence there means they are finding your competitors not you. Get a website, Nigeria has over 90 million connected devices to the internet. Those are your customers.

- Bake social sharing into your website: Under every blog post, infographic, video, audio or picture on your website, there should be a “social share” button that allows your website visitors share your content with their friends on their preferred social network.

- Collect Emails: Email newsletter campaigns are responsible for 80% of deals in the world.
